Please check, before booking a hearing test
If this is the first time you have looked into hearing loss and digital hearing aids it is important that you are adequately informed and prepared before you have a consultation. It would be advantageous to understand a little about hearing loss and digital hearing aids as well as understand what is required from you to help make the rehabilitation process successful.

  • It is advisable, but not essential to have first visited your G.P.
  • Ensure your ears are not blocked with wax before the consultation.
  • It is also important to have the support of your family to help deal effectively with hearing loss, it is therefore important to have a close family member or friend with you at the consultation.
  • Have in mind a good understanding of your lifestyle and how socially active you are as this will influence the technology level of the hearing aid solution recommended to you.
  • Have a clear picture of what it really is that you want to get out of your hearing.
